Summer Story Hikkaduwa hostel lies in Hikkaduwa Beach, which is one of the widest beaches on Sri Lanka's west coast, and the nearest bus stop, Narigama, is about a 5-minute stroll away.

Located within a 6-km distance of such significant cultural landmarks as the Tsunami Photo Museum, the Hikkaduwa hostel is also 4.3 km from the Seenigama Muhudu Viharaya. In addition, the One Big Turtle Point can be found nearly a 10-minute ride from the hostel. Seenigama Temple is 4.4 km from the accommodation.
